NASA has released what it calls a “transition plan” for the International Space Station. The plan covers NASA’s work needed to keep the INTERNATIONAL Space Station operational for the next decade, “helping to lay the foundation for a future space economy.”The plan also details plans for the end of the International Space Station.NASA expects the international Space Station’s operational life to end in January 2031.But work could begin a year or more early, when the iss’s orbit falls toward Earth.Eventually, the iss is scheduled to crash into “no man’s land in the South Pacific.”The region is known as the “inaccessible ocean” because it is the farthest part of the earth from land, the report said.(CCTV reporter Xu Tao)
